About Us      

We are a private club in Colorado Springs with our own smoke-free facility and over 350 members dedicated to the enjoyment of dancing – all types of dancing. Our regular Saturday dances have an even mix of polkas, waltzes, and foxtrots, with an occasional swing or rumba thrown in. Special nights monthly are devoted to classic ballroom dancing.

 

Our club is run by a board of directors.  Committee chairpersons, with a lot of help from enthusiastic volunteers, make things happen - everybody is expected to contribute.  Being well organized and having good participation is absolutely necessary because of the number and variety of club activities, that include the following:

* Weekly dances, with a live band every Saturday, year round. Many of the dances have themes, like Red and White night (our colors), Anniversary/Birthday night, Ice Cream Social, etc.

* Ballroom dances once a month on the first Saturday.

* Special Events, including the Mardi Gras Polka Fest (a three-day event), Harvest Dance, Czech/Slovak Dance, German Fest, New Year's Dance, and more.

* Free Dance Lessons.

* Club bus trips to fun places like New Orleans and Branson.
